On Friday Jesus was crucified and laid in the grave. His followers mourned with agony and they lost their King. In that moment, they did not understand that in 3 days, he would return.  We, now in this age understand the sorrow that came in the form of death on Friday, but also have hope that Sunday is coming. That our King returned, and that He will one day again return.
